AMTRA CO2 SYSTEM is a complete system for adding CO2 to the aquarium.
Is composed by:
– a 500 g CO2 bottle. not rechargeable
– a pressure reducer with pitch M10 x 1
– 3 meters of 3.5 x 5 mm polyurethane tube specific for use with CO2 under pressure
– 1 x AMTRA CO2 BUBBLE COUNTER – bubble counter with integrated non-return valve
– 1 x AMTRA CO2 DIFFUSER – specific micronizer for CO2 capable of maximizing the diffusion of carbon dioxide in water.
CO2 is extremely important in freshwater aquariums with plants as it promotes photosynthesis and consequently a luxuriant plant growth with positive effects on fish and the entire ecosystem. In aquariums managed with Aquascaping techniques it becomes fundamental and essential. Thanks to AMTRA CO2 SYSTEM it will be very simple and very economical to go and dispense CO2 in your aquarium. Furthermore, thanks to the special fine adjustment tap of the CO2 supply that the pressure reducer is equipped with and the practical bubble counter supplied, it will be very easy to set the right amount of CO2 necessary for your aquarium.

Amtra co2 system can also be used in marine aquariums only by connecting it directly to a calcium reactor (in this case the co2 micronizer is superfluous).

The amount of CO2 to be delivered to the aquarium depends on many factors: tank litration, water hardness, type and quantity of plants, lighting system and fertilization protocol adopted. For these reasons, AMTRA CO2 SYSTEM can be suitable for aquariums of all sizes, even if in aquariums larger than 300-400 liters the cylinder consumption will be quite fast. In any case, it is possible to connect the system to a larger and refillable cylinder using a special adapter (refillable cylinder and adapter not included in the package).
